Job Summary

We have an opening for a Marketing co-ordinator (co-op) for a currently enrolled university or college student. This co-op placement is for the Winter 2019 term: January to April 2019.

This role reports to the Marketing Communications Manager and provides support for our District Outreach and Analytics initiatives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

District Outreach Support (50%)

  • Ensure the outreach calendar of events is updated and complete
  • Implement districts requests for meetings, conferences, workshops, sponsorships, etc.
  • Coordinate the development and dissemination of material to districts and branches (e.g. workshop kits, sales collateral, etc…)
  • Analytics on lead conversion by event, by deliverer of the event.

Enterprise Analytics (15%)

  • Generate monthly balanced scorecard and enterprise reports
  • Prepare monthly website and social media analysis
  • Ad hoc report requests (including CRM)
  • Identification of opportunities to streamline / automate existing workflows (last half of the work term)

Client Advisory Services Analytics (35%)

  • Provide weekly update on investing leads status and adoption rates
  • Monitor success of call campaigns by determining attrition rates and changes in asset values
  • Book reporting, daily program tracking, weekly sales reporting, meeting tracking and analysis, new client sourcing (referral vs. workshop) sales funnel reporting at the individual level, AM book activity reports
  • Day to day responsibilities may include weekly and monthly report generation focusing on sales and activities from field staff using Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Assist with the development of a quarterly report examining the sales and activity information in the CRM and providing insights into the results, deficiencies in tracking and possible improvements to the process.
  • Ad hoc report requests (including CRM)
  • Additional assignments as required to support the marketing team.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited university or college in a Business or Marketing related program with a co-op option
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, plus an attention to detail.
